We are a forward thinking company and since our inception we have achieved and maintained our position in the market as a brand leader by ensuring that our products provide the best quality/price ratio for the customer.
We have 4 distinct sections in UK Planet with each section dealing with a particular industry with it’s own dedicated sales-force. We do this to make sure we do not lose focus on our brands, and that we can do justice to our manufacturer’s products by being a dedicated distributor to them.
The four industry sectors we specialise in are:
HARDWARE; we cover brands specialising in Hand Tools, Power Tools, DIY, Industrial tools, Storage, Plumbing, Electrical etc OUR OWN BRANDS; our own brands cover Tools, Expanding Foam, Tapes, Fastening and Fittings, Sealants, Tile Adhesives etc
FMCG; our brands cover confectionary, snacks, drinks, food, frozen food, fresh fruit, health and beauty, cereals, pharmaceuticals etc 
OUTDOOR; our brands cover outdoor power products, Furniture's, storage solutions, garden tools, barbecues, barbecue accessories etc

Full line category management is available as our products cover such a wide a range of SKU’s.
Good margins are available on all our products as we negotiate a set program with our manufacturers based on volume, marketing and distribution network. We make sure it is worthwhile to stock our products by lowering the bottom line.
We only work with manufacturers who are able to support their brand in international programs, which means we in turn can support our customers via marketing costs, POS displays in-line with what they need, bespoke packaging and volume rebates.
Full inventory management with bespoke software means that we can fulfil stock orders just in time and have an average fill rate in 2010 of 97%!
Full product liability insurance and Q&A procedures means we can have confidence in what we are selling is of high quality, up to standard and backed up by insurance just in case.
